all been given a "slope index", which indicates the difficulty
of the course and varies according to the tee used. This rating
takes into account length, hazards, rough and availing wind.
The higher the number, the more testing the course is. Suitable
for amateur or professional.
Golfing in Cyprus

available in Cyprus all of which are located in or around
Paphos
area.
The winter months will
be the ideal time for keen golfers to visit Cyprus as the
weather will be cooler so therefore an ideal climate for golfing,
whilst also still being warm enough for players to enjoy all
the other features on offer on this beautiful island.
The Aphrodite Hills
is a championship 18 hole course built within the hills but
with the added beauty of overlooking the sea. A brand new
5 star hotel has recently been completed on site offering
extensive facilities.
There are 2 other courses
within a short distance from Paphos, they are the Secret Valley
and Tsada. To be eligible to play on any of these courses
all golfers must be aged 16 or over and must hold a current
handicap certificate.

for non-certificate holders from 11.am and strict dress codes
will apply.
